Justice with Compassion

I look forward to serving the citizens of Harris County as Judge of Probate Court 2.  The Probate Courts primarily exercise jurisdiction over decedent’s estates, guardianships,  and related matters that affect people at critical times in their lives.  Parties who appear in probate court are often grieving over the loss of a loved one or struggling with the care of an incapacitated loved one.  As a Probate Judge, I will be committed to treating all parties courteously, listening carefully and patiently, and providing evenhanded justice with compassion.  My 30+  years as a licensed attorney, 28+  years as an Associate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Houston, and 20+ years of practice  exclusively in the areas of probate, guardianship, and estate planning make me highly qualified to be that Judge.  I greatly appreciate your support.
